The First fall radish

The radishes are all about 2 weeks from harvesting. So it was a good surprise when I went out to thin the beets and I find this little guy (an easter egg radish), and at supper time!

He's gonna be good in tonights salad!

  2. dr momi, Well here in East Tennessee our first frost isnt until the end of November....usually. It's getting pretty cold so it might be around the middle of November. we pretty lucky here with such a wide growing season.

  3. We've had frosts for the past month, but I've got a cold frame all set up and a few salad fixings growing. Your radish looks PERFECT! I think the fall is definately good for growing!

  4. Sue, Thanks! I definitely agree, the fall garden seems almost perfect this season, here in East Tn., our days have been cool (mid 60's and 70's) and sunny with usually one day a week of steady light rain. I couldnt ask for it to be more perfect.
